This is a Developing service with Optional Scanning for Digital Images and Optional Printing on Real Photographic Paper.

 

About Us:

The Open Market Film Lab is an independent film lab run located  in Brighton, UK.

Our equipment includes:

  • A Fuji FP232B automatic film processor for C41 film.
  • A Noritsu V30 automatic film processor configured for Black & White film.
  • A Noritsu HS-1800 film scanner for 35mm and 120mm film scanning.
  • A Noritsu wet lab for C-Type real photographic printing on silver halide paper (for colour and black and white printing).

Digital Image Resolutions:

  • Standard 3024 x 2005 px
  • Enhanced 6744 x 4492 px
  • Enhanced TIFF 6744 x 4492 px
  • Basic 1512x 1012 px
  •  

Print Finish:

Our prints are on Fujifilm Archival silver halide paper. We default to Gloss prints with Matt​ being optional. Please inform us if you want Matt.

 

How to Mail Order:

  • Complete a Purchase
  • Package your films securely and include for identification:
    • your name, address, email, phone number and the order number
  • Send your films to:

  • We would recommend that you use a signed-for postage service – for example Royal Mail.

 

Our Process:

  • We will inform you by email when we have received your film
  • We will process your order within the turnaround time selected once we have received your film.
  • We will send scanned images by WeTransfer (if you ordered Digital Images), within the turnaround time from receipt of your film.
  • We will sleeve and return your negatives (but only if you selected a postage option)
  • We will send you Physical Prints with your negatives (if you ordered Prints)
  • You must select a postage option if you order Physical Prints.

 

Liability:

Whilst we will treat your film with due care, accidents can happen on rare occasions. By placing your order, you accept that out liability extends to a refund of the amount paid for the order and replacement of film with the same or similar product.
